How we collect, use and protect your personal information — in accordance with applicable Swedish and EU data-protection rules, including the GDPR.
The registration form on this website is an expression of interest — not a binding contract. By submitting it you ask us to contact you about our courses. Terms for lessons, payment and cancellation are agreed separately at enrolment.
Through the registration form we collect: the student's name, email address, phone number(s), date of birth, country, chosen instrument, the parent/guardian's name (for students under 18), and any message you write. We confirm your email address with a one-time code.
To respond to your enquiry, suggest suitable courses and times, and — only if you have explicitly opted in — send information about courses, offers and discounts. The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry.
Interest submissions are kept for up to twelve months after our last contact with you. If you enrol, your information becomes part of your student record and is covered by our student terms. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
Your information is stored in our database at Amazon Web Services in the Stockholm (EU) region. Only the academy's administrative staff have access. Your information is never sold and never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw any consent you have given (for example for mailings) at any time. Contact us at info@foxtromusicacademy.com and we will help you. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
